e-Recruitment Add-on

The People Inc. e-Recruitment Add-on allows users to enter the details of a vacancy into People Inc. and the system can automatically publish the information to their website and invite applicants to apply online.

Once an application has been submitted online, the applicant details are automatically recorded in the People Inc. database against the relevant vacancy.

e-recruitment provides the following benefits:

  • Users can publish vacancies to the website instantly (at the click of a mouse), removing the need to liase with IT or website managers.
  • Any level of vacancy detail can be published, and by editing the details held within People Inc. this can be updated at any time.
  • Webpage displays a full list of vacancies allowing potential applicants to browse vacancies and apply quickly and easily.
  • Removes the need for HR users to enter applicant details into People Inc. saving time and improving accuracy
  • The type of information collected from applicants (including a copy of their CV) can be defined by the user.
  • Users are notified that a new application has been received and automation included provides for professional and prompt acknowledgements are sent automatically to applicants.
  • Access to the details of applicants (including their CV etc.) by Line Managers using their ESS login allows for shortlisting for interviews.

This e-recruitment functionality is provided via 4 web pages: a vacancy list page; a vacancy detail page; an application form; and a confirmation page.

Vacancy Details in People Inc.

Vacancy details can be maintained within the People Inc. system, and applicant details are recorded against these. As individuals progress through the recruitment process users update the information.

With the addition of the e-recruitment add-on, the vacancy details held within the system are automatically listed on a page on the company website.

e-recruitment webpages

The e-recruitment web pages are seamlessly integrated into the client’s web-site and are styled to match the rest of the site (this includes all fonts, borders, colours, etc.). The vacancy list page can be called from the menu on the company website and displays an introductory paragraph together with a list of vacancies. The list is generated dynamically from the People Inc. vacancy details entered by the user.

Visitors to the website can browse through the list of published vacancies and see more detailed information by clicking on the Details link. An online application form allows visitors to apply on-line.

Applicant information added via the application form are saved within the People Inc. system. Customising the application form enables applicants to enter a wide variety of information. Applicants can attach their CV and further documents as required. On receipt of applicant data by People Inc. a confirmation e-mail can be sent automatically by the system.

Access to the details of applicants (including their CV etc.) by Line Managers using their ESS login allows for shortlisting for interviews. Using the built in tools provided in People Inc. the recruitment process administration can be undertaken (analysis reports, letters of rejection, interview, job offer). A successful applicants’ data can be transferred as an employee to the relevant department a specifically designed transfer tool.
