Pension Auto-Enrolment Processing

The Pension auto-enrolment add-on for your People Inc. system provides an easy way to record & manage pension information along with employee opt-out.

The add-on scans the system every day for individuals who are eligible for auto-enrolment. Should any employees be eligible and have not yet been enrolled in a pension scheme, the system automatically generates a ‘reminder’ to the administrator, and they can then enrol the individuals in a pension scheme.

This add-on is designed to work with all versions of People Inc. and is a simple upgrade to the system. When implemented using the People Inc. Employee Self-Service (ESS) module, automated workflow efficiencies are gained. Employees have the ability to opt-out of a pension scheme by filling out an on-line form. Employees can also use the ESS to complete a request to be enrolled (or re-enrolled) in a pension scheme.

The Pension auto-enrolment add-on functionality:

The add-on scans the system every day for any employees who are eligible for auto-enrolment. Should any employees be eligible and have not yet been enrolled in a pension scheme, the system automatically generates a ‘reminder’ to the user to manage the data.

Administrators can enrol the employees in a suitable scheme and update the system accordingly. The add-on enables users to manage a number of different schemes from a range of pension providers. Once this is done, the system notifies the employee by email.

When implemented as part of the Employee Self Service module (ESS), Employees have the ability to opt-out of a pension scheme by filling out an on-line form. This is updated in the system & the administrator is informed. Employees can also use the ESS to complete a request to be enrolled (or re-enrolled) in a pension scheme. This request is automatically routed to the administrator for processing. The system will automatically flag the records of employees who have opted out & notify the administrator when they should once again be automatically enrolled in a pension.

For organisations who do not have the ESS module, employees can opt out via e-mail or telephone and the administrator can then update their records with the appropriate pension provider.

This add-on is designed to work with all versions of People Inc. and is a simple upgrade to the system.
